Description
Coming from old vineyards with ages between 50 and 80 years, the vines grow in calcareous and clayey soils, and are worked through traditional viticulture -with manual and ecological harvesting.
Alleu is a concentrated, powerful and elegant red wine.
On the nose it is greedy, with hints of ripe red fruit and toasted touches from the aging.
The palate is powerful, showing all its breadth with a long and persistent finish.
The Alleu red wine 2017 from the Vendrell Rived Winery was chosen to represent the DO Montsant in promotional and protocol events.
