Its foundation dates back to the early twentieth century, specifically in 1917. It has about 500 ha of vineyards, all protected under the Montsant. Its members contribute each year 2.5 million kilograms divided between the varieties of grapes Carignan, Tempranillo, Grenache and Syrah.
The dry weather in summer, the low fertility of these lands inland and mountainous terrain, make the Mediterranean climate
acquired in the area of continental features. The predominant soil of red clay is also an important factor in grape quality. Sunlight reflected from the earth on red grapes contribute effectively in the process of fruit ripening.
The quality of this wine is the hallmark of its wine tradition that has made an expression of identity.
